Frequently Asked Questions

Many believe that Silestone is simply another type of stone; however, it is an engineered surface. It is composed of natural quartz with some resin and pigment added to it. The combination results in a Silestone quartz countertop that is more durable than most stones and offers a large selection of colours and patterns to choose from.

That is where it is really good. Families prefer Silestone kitchen countertops because they are resistant to stains and they resist scratches, making cleaning easier. Also, the variety of Silestone countertop colours will enable you to match whatever style you want.

Definitely. Bathrooms are wet places, and Silestone does well with that since it is non-porous. Silestone bathroom countertop owners frequently state that they like not having to worry about water spots or mould. Additionally, it provides vanities with a sleek, high-end appearance without additional maintenance.

It is nothing much day to day. Wipe them with soapy water or a mild cleaner, and you are good to go. Unlike granite or marble, a Silestone quartz countertop does not require sealing and therefore requires little maintenance. A couple of minutes of cleaning this and that will keep your counters fresh.

Warm water and a mild dish soap will do the trick for regular messes. That is the most recommended method of cleaning a Silestone quartz countertop without losing the shine. In case something more difficult spills, just take a soft sponge and it should come off.

To remove stains on your Silestone countertop, apply a neutral soap and gently rub in a circular motion using a damp microfiber cloth. Let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off any residue and dry with a paper towel.

Silestone countertops' cost is dependent on a few factors: the thickness of the slab, the size of your project, and the colour you select. The more unusual shades are a little more expensive. The majority of homeowners consider it a long-term investment because a Silestone countertop can last decades without the additional maintenance required of other stones.
